Miss Sheba for the most part was calm, with intervals of trying to lash around, but not going anywhere ? I could tell it was making her very uncomfortable to be confined. So I would give her a little breaks and let her sit on my shoulder while she was still in the hammock and I would then nuzzle her and kiss her a bunch of course and tell her how she good she was and she would kiss me back. Took me a little time to figure out how to distract her.  So this time first time was a training lesson for me. I definitely am trading my clippers I am not happy with the scissor kind at all. I tried putting peanut butter on my head on a bag- I should’ve took a picture of myself looking like that ha ha, anyways she did not fall for it - so I would blindly reach up and grab a clump of it and just put it on top of her mouth and then that would distract her for a moment. At least three times she went to put her mouth over my hand as she tried to reach down to bite me but never bit me, she just put her mouth there as to bite to tell me she was mad.  And a few fits of squirming and swinging around, but every time she got stressed I would just stop and cuddle with her until she calm down again. ❤️We had a really tough time trimming our frenchie's nails until we bought this hammock. I added closet hangers and a closet rod in our laundry area to suspend the lil' guy. Works like a charm. No more squirming and fighting!Overall it is a great tool for grooming dog; trimming nails and feet. They can’t go anywhere. My dogs are small, so this is probably a small issue, but it seemed a little bulky. Other than that, it is great!It dies exactly what it should do. The only thing is it could be a little comfier for the dog but overall good item!N/aThough my Westie wasn't thrilled with this harness, it allowed me to successfully clip his nails. He thrashed around a bit, but it was easy to calm him down. He had the zoomies afterward to erase all the trauma I put him through! ?? Even though my dog is small, I ordered the medium harness.My pups HATE getting their nails trim. HATE it. We've tried calming chews, waiting until they were tired, treats, different types of trimmers. This worked out fantastically for them. Although still anxious about getting their nails trim, they can't move and seem comfortable in the harness. It's very soft, but strong. We hang it up in our closet for sturdiness. It goes together easy, slip on, hang up, clip, clip, clip. Done in a couple of mins.The first thing they say and show on screen is how it comes with clipper and scissors… They Don’t!At least mine didn’t..The material is super soft, it arrived pretty quicklyBut not in a clean bag and so I assume it was bought and returned but I needed it at that moment so I just Washed and kept it at this point.I will call customer service to see about the nail and hair clippers for paws are ?!Also I have a Beagle and Patterdale and it really would have been better, more comfortable for my dogs if I had gone with the Larger Size.
