Seems like a nice dog bed. My 75lb great pyr / hound mix likes itIt’s become my dogs favorite bed I think - he generally seems to seek this out. It’s fluffy and seems nice for himHe likes it, so I’m giving it five starsNice raised padded bed for our two huskys, a bit small for our larger husky as he likes to roll around but looks good and being able to fold it is a plus!I have purchased many beds for my fur baby and she tends to tear them up quick. So far she is loving her new bed. I thought I got a medium but it’s bigger. Still love it. Hopefully my fur baby doesn’t tear it up.Top cover seams to ge durable but the bottom is very thin and dig will easily rip through it.Nice productThe ZonLi Large Dog Bed 89x71cm was delivered in an unbranded plastic bag – in fact I didn’t quite know what it was as it was vacuum packed and only gained its true size after around 4 hours. The cover comes in the bag and you have to stuff the pillow into the cover yourself - which is no hardship! Our cocker spaniels are just under 16Kg and this bed seems ideal for them but I suspect would be a bit small for anything over 25kg. The top of the bed is made of a thick linen- almost hessian type of material which seems to be coated in something – possibly to make it waterproof? The base has the small rubber/silicone bubbles all over the surface as an anti-slip feature and that works very well, it is also breathable to promote air circulation for the pillow within. The pillow itself is of good quality and nice and soft, that softness is somewhat muted by the aforementioned thick linen/hessian cover but still provides some comfort for your hairy friend.The dogs seemed a little perturbed by it and would not use it initially until I put one of their soft blankets on it, at which point they both made for it and had a tussle to see who was using it, now a regular occurrence...but they still won’t use it with just the original cover. Perhaps after some more weeks and a wash?This is a very well made dog bed/cushion which looks and feels durable, it has a handy handle built in on one edge for transport and is a good weight and well finished as you might expect for just shy of £48, though there is a 6% discount at the time or writing this review.Now, it's a shame because this dog bed is comfortable as well as durable - it can take a good digging and all my dogs like to dig a spot before they settle down on it. The pillow is large and the cover well made. The only problem was the zip.When I got both pillow and cover out of their separate bits of packaging, I set about putting the thing together. Stuffed the pillow inside, made sure the zip teeth had enough room to find each other and started to zip it up. The zipper handle (don't know the right word, so you'll have to bear with me here), is very small and kind of slippy, so it made closing the thing a bit of an effort.Unfortunately, there must have been some damage to the teeth because the zipper slipped off one side of the track as I was zipping. I tried to get it back on the teeth, nothing worked. I went online and found a video on how to fix a concealed zip. I followed the instructions from the video - took the pillow out, snipped the stitching, released the zipper from both sets of teeth, snipped out some teeth, fed the zipper back onto the tracks, tried again.The zipper fell off one set of teeth about halfway along.It did this three times before I realised that one of the teeth was broken.Undeterred, I decided to just sew up the zipper from top to tail and just unpick the stitches when the cover needed cleaning. It was down on the floor for about half an hour before the puppy peed on it.A big sturdy zip would have been better, in my opinion. Something with gangster teeth and a good solid zip handle, or whatever it's called. I wouldn't have bothered if I'd known there would be so much sewing involved.The “Large Dog Bed” from “ZonLi” is a very good-sized pillow bed that’s specifically with dogs in mind.I don’t have a dog. I however, have a 19 year-old-cat who’s getting a tad frail these days and absolutely requires comfort for sleeping. Hence I ordered one of these.I was however quite specific for what I was looking for. My cat likes to stretch out a lot and due to her age and deteriorating eyesight does have a habit of misjudging things and falling off furniture etc. So I wanted a large pet pillow where she could lie down in the middle and have no fear of tumbling off.She’s also not too great with her fur cleaning these days and tends to moult all over the place. At least with a pillow bed the fur will generally be constricted to one main area which I can ensure I pay particular attention to removing loose fur from.The fabric on the top-side of the pillow bed is tough, durable, hard-wearing and also (as per the above) easy to remove loose fir etc from. You’re also able to wipe it clean and generally maintain it well.The pillow itself is very soft and comfortable for a pet to sleep on. My cat absolutely loves it. You see her padding around, choosing just the right spot in the middle before settling down. Often you’ll see her sprawled out on it, just loving life.I’m assuming most people will be viewing this listing from the perspective of potentially purchasing one of these bed pillows for a dog. For the very, very few who might be considering one for a cat, especially an elderly one like my Daria…I absolutely recommend it. I assume for a dog it’s just as good – but best check the other reviews from a doggie perspective first, to see what they had to say!From a standpoint of looking at this cushion purely on how this is made and the materials this is made of then I would have to give this item five stars. But for the money I have had and do expect better than this. Maybe I should be saying that I think the price should come down a bit, after all it's not an XL size and I have had thicker and more comfortable cushions/beds. I have to admit I do prefer the rectangular thick flat all over beds that are as I say ‘flat all over’, this is definitely a cushion as in it is not flat. It’s not that big an area but it is made of decent materials that are durable and waterproof. I was a little confused when I first opened the package. You take off the packaging and you will see a white flat material that has been vacuum packed. Cut open the plastic film and of course the white material fills out and inside the white material sits the brown waterproof cover. This has an integral zip, and the underneath black surface of the cover has small knobbly bits to add a bit of friction to enable adherence to the floor. Inside you will see that the cover has a waterproof lining with decent stitching. The cover also has a integral cloth handle. So to sum up, not a bad large cushion but a bit on the expensive side for a dog cushion. Three stars from me especially at £47.99. I’ve had less expensive ones that are thicker. There is a 10% discount on at the moment…still expensive to me though.This is a large cushion, comfortably I would judge for a medium sized dog.Not so much a "bed" as I think that description really implies structure, and something that has sides, having something approaching a dish like shape.Size wise the collie in the picture must be on the smaller side, because a full sized collie covers the cushion quite well.Those negatives covered the actual product is reasonable, the cushion is soft and pliable and feels like typical man made fibre bedding material.The brown cushion cover has a handle for carrying and feels robust to the touch, with rougher tweedy like texture, and I have no reason to doubt it is waterproof, with liquid beading on the surface.This being a new from the bag review I haven't had a chance nor reason to see how the cushion launders.The key test being did the dog sit on it?And the answer to that is yes, which makes this a successful product.Price point for this generous sized cushion compared to a pillow and or regular cushion seems reasonable as this is at least twice that in volume/dimensions.In conclusion the dog does like it.
