I waited to write a review to see how long or sturdy this crate is. It was easy to assemble, and 8 months in, it’s still sturdy. My big boy loves his bed, and my 70lb boxer likes to get in it. Will be trading her metal crate in for this one.Overall a wonderful product, deserving of it's stars earned. Just two issues that I've wrote up to being minor defects in the one I received, not an every has it.First, the locks are useless. The doors just swing open by themselves, the levers do nothing to keep it closed on my product. Luckily there are two holes, where a small padlock can be used instead. Just set the lock to one off of the code and it's fine.Second I needed a drill bit, as during assembly two of the holes has a bit of metal partially covering them, blocking the screws.I am not one to write reviews but for this I had to share and let you know. I ordered this crate (beautiful by the way) it came with a broken and bent door. I sent the company a message telling them what condition the crate was in. They asked for pictures of course and immediately offered to send me a whole new door. I agreed and thought all was well, I just have to wait for the new door to arrive. The next day I get a message from the company stating they can't send the door as they didn't have any in stock and they had already shipped off brand new wooden panels to me. Would I be ok with just replacing those. I told them the door was bent and I couldn't really use the door but I appreciated the new panels. So in order to fix the issue with zero delay they sent me a brand new crate. They had changed the design of the crate the new one was more sturdy, slightly (very very slightly) taller and overall a better looking crate. If you are hesitant on purchasing this don't. It's a gorgeous crate. I get tons of compliments on it. It looks classy in any room. (I didn't want just a regular looking crate as I have it in my living room) I use it for my 55lb 5 month old Golden Doodle puppy (who will be at least 85lbs once full grown) and he will have plenty of room still when he is grown. It holds up to his jumping and begging that he does when I walk through the door from work. You seriously can't go wrong with the crate. Ok. There is it. My one and only review for the year!We purchased this crate/piece of furniture for a bit over $300. There were almost no reviews but we took chance being almost no products like this. This product is sturdy, solid metal . Assembles easily. Aesthetically pleasing. We have it in our foyer/entry way and when people come in, they don't realize it's a dog crate. The top serves as a table you can use as any entry way table. One minor issue, the doors are slightly offcenter, one is slightly higher than the other. This could possibly be from assembly issue on our end but more likely a minor manufacturing issue. The latch folds over to keep dog in, so the latch won't work as well; however this isn't a problem as there is a hole below each latch that allows a lock or any latch you wish to connect the doors and keep them shut. One of the doors is also stablized further at bottom (internal) and held in place with a slide lock. So we still give this 5 stars, as at the price point, quality / sturdiness of product, thoughtulness of design including ability to wheel around if needed OR hold in place easily, and other features - as the minor issue above should not detract at this price point. If it was a $3000 vs $300 dollar item that might be different. We purchase quite often on Amazon and review only the best or worst products. Felt this product deserved some attention. Also should add, unlike many new products, they aren't begging for reviews, offering free items for people to review, etc. They just put out a good product and aren't marketing it at all.The screw holes did not line luckily I’m a girl with tools or I would not have been able to put it together. I had to cut metal so I could screw it together and it is still missing two screws on the top because I got frustrated putting it together. I’ll have to do them another day when I’m not so frustrated.It seems sturdy but I will see if it’s sturdy enough to keep my bull terrier from breaking through it. I would have returned it but I know it would be more hassle than it was worth because the box is big and heavy and I needed a crate since my dog was in a temporary one waiting for this one.This thing is a pain to put together, but it's definitely sturdy and a great piece.Beautiful and functional. I am very impressed. So glad I bought this. Our dog had bent the bars on the "basic" kennel from the big box stores. She'll have a hard time escaping this new one.
