I love the look of this bed. Assembly was easy, I do recommend two people though for holding parts in place. My kids had standard bunk beds prior, and would fight all night if one moved around and it shook the bed. Problem solved with this! Still saves space and is cute and functional. The shelving space fits the 12x12 fabric cubes perfect. We had a cube shelf for toys prior and was able to retire the old shelf and just put the cubes on the shelf under the bed. My one complaint is I wish the top bunk was a little sturdier. It does rock a little if you shake it hard, but with the tall drone and not having the support of a bottom bunk it’s going to have some movement. Overall I love it and so do the kids.The bed was very easy to build, though time consuming (it is 2 beds and a bookshelf!). It came with mounting hardware to attach it to the wall, but we didn’t use it. A couple weeks later, we might go back and attach it. It is shaky on top, but it doesn’t feel unsafe. The kiddo just wants it less wobbly so we will attach it to the wall for added support. The bed looks great and arrived in great condition. It was missing one screw, but I grabbed a replacement from Ace for 33 cents. I’m sure the manufacturer would have sent one but I wanted it now!Overall good need for the money.
