I bought this for my 130 pound pregnant great Dane and she loved it.We had a nice dog bed cover but needed a new piece of foam that offered great support for a big dog. This is perfect for our 10 yr old collie. It fits inside the cover perfectly.My 17 year old shepherd likes her bed, but I've had it approximately 7 months and the cover fell apart in the wash. The foam mattress itself is doing alright and I got the memory foam over a standard bed for her arthritis and she spends a lot of time sleeping in one spot. I've only washed it probably 5 times on a delicate cycle (because I have a baby mattress cover over top as an extra layer of protection and is easier to wash). The description here says that you can wash it on hot and that it's a sturdy, heavy-duty cover. Not so much. The grippy dots on the bottom have been popping off everywhere since the first wash and gotten all over the washer/dryer. And as of this last wash, a huge section of the zipper ripped off (on the delicate cycle). I don't see a way to contact the seller, and a previously answered question above sounds like they don't offer replacement covers. This is going to leave the memory foam exposed with collects all kinds of dirt/fur you can't remove because it just sticks and gets embedded in to it.Purchased for our 10 yr old Bassett after I had to throw away her old one because it was wore out! This is the second I've purchased for her ...the first one was too hard and she refused to lay on it. I knew this was more comfortable because it felt softer. After letting her get used to it being here we finally coaxed her onto it. She now has proclaimed it to be hers! She is definitely a creature of habit!I purchased 2, the XX Size for German Shepherds, Plenty of room to stretch out. I could not rate the chewing part, my dogs don't chew up the beds anymore, so i gave it a 3. Any bed can be chewed up.We had gotten a Sealy dog bed with cushioning all around the edge and unfortunately my dog started not holding his bladder and the inside was ruined and could not be washed. I found this and the sizing was perfect. I kept the outer cover on it as extra protection against his accidents.I love that the foam on this is extra sturdy and is supportive of my older dog as well.It’s firm but soft. He can get on and off it easily even with his hip weakness. I’m very impressed with the foam. The cover has been washed several times already and is holding up well.One thing - order by measurements of your pet, not weight. The medium was way too small for him and he kept falling off. That’s how firm the foam is in this thing. It’s a great value.nice sizeBought this for my 8.5yr old bunny who has arthritis in her back, neck and chest. She's normally quite wary of anything new but she was sitting on this the same day it arrived and is now snoozing on it during the day next to my desk. Very pleased with it, and she seems to be happy too. Would definitely recommend and would repurchase without hesitation.Brought for my French bulldog who is suffering from cushings disease which causes muscle wastage and a slipped disk so sleeps in a crate at night to stop him jumping on the furniture and causing himself more injury to his back. As a result he was getting sore on his bottom from regular thin beds, he loves this mattress and often takes himself off during the day to lay on it, hes not so enthusiastic to get up in the morning as he's so comfy, this is a first for him, as he has a donut bed during the day. This mattress is thick, good value for money, and arrived the next day. Very happy customersReally impressed with the bed. We popped a thick fleecy blanket on top so our dog could scrunch it up to 'nest' and she loves it.The cover on the mattress is really soft and silky and doesn't look at all out of place in our lounge on a cream carpet. Have to say I was impressed with the feel of the mattress, it's the kind of quality you would expect from a mattress made for human use but obviously it's not as thick, it gives lots of support but it's also soft.Definitely worth the money and definitely excellent for any older dog who might be experiencing some stiffness, aches and pains in older age. It arrived very quickly and very well packagedI never leave reviews but had to in this case. The quality of this bed is outstanding for the price - very deep and comfortable but not saggy; it's proper memory foam. Dog is 30kg and it supports him very well (size XL). Not washed it yet so can't comment on that. I have bought a LOT of dog beds, some significantly more expensive than this one, and this is the best of the lot by miles. Doggy is usually quite fussy about new things but he jumped straight on this and has barely moved since - a very happy customer.I miei cani l hanno adorata non si alzavano più. L ho presa per il cane grande di 30 kg( la piccola ha già una cuccia.) Direi che è perfetta altrimenti la L sarebbe troppo giusta. Ha uno spessore di circa 10 cm.Molto comoda pensavo solo fosse bianca invece è grigia simil velluto/peluche quindi forse un po’ calda per L estate ma al momento è perfetta. Consiglio di coprirla con una coperta per evitare che si rovini presto.Purtroppo devo aggiornare la recensione. Il cuscino perde un liquido... la prima volta che ho trovato il pavimento bagnato sotto il cuscino pensavo che il mio cane avesse fatto la pipì .... ma poi sento che il liquido rilasciato (tra L altro sul parquet! ) e’ profumato... credo che sia il gel contenuto che si scioglie con il calore del cane.... a patto che non sia tossico per lui.... non credo che vada bene per il mio pavimento !...... purtroppo a questo punto sconsiglio ..... non ho certezza assoluta sulla causa ma....
