This is a well made comfortable little dog harness. I have a 8 month old, 8.4lbs. Maltipoo and ordered the size small. It was too snug due to his fluffy hair. There would be no room for any growth. I decided to return it and reordered the size Medium which works much better. It is slightly too big but it is very much more comfortable than the small. It actually works out great especially if he puts on more weight. The only way to escape this harness is your pet’s legs are very short. Suits my Maltipoo very well. The matching leash is the perfect length and a bonus too.I ordered an XS for my 5 lb chihuahua who is very skinny. It was too small. I couldn't get the buckle to even touch. I returned it no problem and ordered a S. Hopefully this one fits better.I love this harness. However my little guy is a half inch too big for it and a size larger would be to big. So I added some extra Velcro and it works just fine. The matching leash is a bonus because it's really well made. Just like the harness. I would happily order this product again.My dogs are experts at escaping but met their match with this harness. The are good quality and a good price. Easy to put on and look good. Have used many different ones, in past, without the same results. My only issue is that there needs to be a half size between small and medium. As they grew the small got tight in the chest and the leg and neck holes were just right. In the medium the chest size is good but the neck and leg holes are to big. I sewed the reflector strips together and the harness now fits just right.I was not happy with the design of this harness, but the seller is outstanding. I received a complete refund with no hassle at all. I would do business with them again, given the right product.Mostly, I like this product. My only issue is I followed the measurement guide for my purchase. It barely fits. Ordering one size larger allows you to tighten it up and would be the better way to go.This will be my third one of this brand. Same pup, just grew up. Easy enough to put on. Good for colder weather as there is enough material that it would help keep heat in. Suspect it may be a little warm in the dead of summer. While this is not typical, I did find that if the dog pulls backwards, the dog can escape from the harness. If the dog allows the front legs to go straight forward, the harness will pull off over the head with no problem as the chest part is larger on some dogs than the shulders and larger than the neck and head, making it easy to pull off. Some dogs with large heads or broad shoulders may not have this problem.We actually purchased this for our 8 pound terrier chihuahua which we had trouble fitting a harness for. this worked great. the only negative about it was that the colors were muted - not as vibrant as in the pic.Disappointed. Tried toborder the right size for my 4 lbs pomchi puppy. She is inbetween sizes xs and small for measurments but All reviews said size up, fits small. Found a review that said xs was to small for their 4 lbs puppy so i ordered a small...i guess she will grow into it but useless until she does. Its huge!Measurements were off since the lack of stretching due to outside binding. Had to return the item. Really like the product but can’t get the medium size. Disappointed.Buyer beware! The leg holes in this product are quite big. I bought an xsmall for my puppy which ended up being too big at the time. It is such a cute vest that I kept it until she grew into it. When she did the first time we were outside with it she got her feet out through the legs holes then slipped out of the harness. Because there are no adjustments I can't make it any tighter. So I tried it a couple weeks later. It was a little tighter in her so I thought it wouldn't happen again. We were only outside for a few minutes when she slipped out again!And now my return window is closed so I'm stuck with it. In my opinion this harness is for medium or large breed dogs.Love this harness, it is sturdy, seems very durable and my pooch is comfortable in it. the only issue I had was size but they sent me another harness and I didn’t even have to send the other harness back. Excellent customer service, I totally recommend this seller and would purchase again.I ordered an extra small for my 5 pound Morkie,, she is very thin. It was too small. I’ve just ordered a small and returned the extra small no problem. It’s good quality hoping the small fits good!
