I had to have looked at over 100 bunk beds before I chose this set. The design was clean, no protrusions. They are rated for 250/350 pounds which makes them durable, and it seemed easy enough for me and two 8 year olds to assemble. I ordered these for my s-granddaughters birthdays and I believe they were here in a week. The package was heavy, but after we opened it the inner packages were light weight and easy to transport to their rooms. Assembling it was easy. Instructions were broken down in easy steps, and using my cordless drill saved time. The enclosed alen wrench helped in tight spots, and final testing of the bolts. I might suggest that you enclose an extra bold of each type as we did strip one. I ordered a nice pair of expanding mattresses, and the beds are silent.
